A few days later I go to use my cellphone, and low and behold it won't turn on. The buttons don't light up or anything. However, when I plug it back into the charger, it will, as normal, say "charging" and show the charging screen, and have the buttons light up for a little bit, and then go dark again, also as normal. Upon letting the cellphone charge (yes the charger is plugged in) for a couple days, I can still open it up to have no lit buttons, no screen, nothing.

Unless you've personally had the problem please give a link to the source of your information as to why the problem you suggest is the real problem.
