If you had the choice of only having a rear light or head light on your bike, which would you choose?
I have a front-facing flashlight mounted on my bike. On campus, however, many of the students ride around with only a red rear light. Which is more important? Thanks.
Both Lights are equally important. When you're talking about bicycle lights you're not talking about seeing the road as much as being seen and if your riding is confined to on campus it's most likely well lite, so that being said if I had to choose I'd choose the rear light. If there is any road riding involved I'd have both. I personally do a lot of night riding on highways and city streets and always run both.
