Any speakers of Cree on here? Preferably Woods or Swampy.?
I need the Cree words for any of the brighter morning stars (or Venus).
If you google "Cree names for Venus" or "Cree names for Jupiter" it will turn up a website produced by the Canadian Heitage Foundation which mentions the Cree names for all the planets.
Since it is copyrighted material I'm not going to transmit or reproduce it.
Some years ago, when I was in Canada, I had an opportunity to acquire a large list of Cree words from a native speaker. Unfortunately, the names for the planets were not one of the things I asked him.
